This site is under construction

Hopefully it will become a useful source of information about the history of encyclopedias and the pursuit of encyclopedic knowledge. It will be seeded with some initial content and then perhaps become an open repository that can be expanded by others. The first area of focus will be 18th century English language encyclopedias.
